I went for unscheduled run last night. I felt good, but the pace could be faster and I considered whether I ought to increase the pace or leave it be. My previous scheduled run was faster than I planned, so for this run I decided to leave the pace be.

And I wondered, "Why am I aiming beyond answered prayer?"

Before every run, I ask God to protect me from evil, harm, and injury, so I can stay healthy. I do not pray for how fast nor how long. If I can finish my run without evil, harm, or injury, then that is answered prayer!

I am not shy with my prayer requests to God and I try to pray according to his will. I get what I pray for; I ought not be greedy.
