A few people are so intensely focused on winning, it does not matter what it is, as long as they win. Some people aspire to that.

From my experience, that does not end well. If done selfishly, it can hurt those we care. And if you say "I have nobody that I care as much as winning", then you have already lost.

Strive to do my best in everything as if it is for the Lord. But be gentle with other people and be Christlike.
