Daily conveniences are sometimes luxuries compared to other conditions or other people. Things I take for granted, simple stuffs even, are missed when they are taken away.
I once went on a trip to a place without running water. I managed. I knew ahead of time and prepared for it mentally.
But to not have clean running water at home - that messed up my headspace a bit. Clean running water is an integral facility that I use daily without thinking. So when that service was degraded significantly and then restored: wow! So nice. I appreciate it a lot.
Enjoying life is about enjoying God's blessings daily, which are plenty around me. I just have to notice them more.
