In many cases, children follow their parents' examples. But even if the parents repent, there is no guarantee the children will follow. In other cases, children are influenced by others and their parents cannot stop it. Eli tried to correct his children (1 Samuel 2.22-25), but the children did not listen.

Godly parenting is not easy. Choose to be a role model in deeds, not just words. And trust the LORD.
