Projecting sufficiency
Saying "all I need is Christ" is one thing when the focus is on my needs. But what about my loved ones? I can do "without the rest" - big maybe - but I want my loved ones to get the best. I "need" to do more for them, right?
Do I?
How can they be confident that Christ is all they need, if I am acting as if Christ needs my help in meeting their needs?
I am still a work-in-progress, but I believe that Christ is all I need. Am I fully confident that Christ is sufficient for them, as I believe Christ to be sufficient for me?
Oh Holy Spirit
please help me stop worrying
and start growing in confidence
that Christ is all they need
