The art of getting lost

I ran outside my neighbourhood this morning and retraced an old route that I had not run in years. A turn that I was sure looked very different than what I remembered, so I backtracked and took the other turn. That ended up wrong. I made a few more wrong turns until I realised that the first turn was indeed the correct decision and I retraced to that very point and found my route and was able to get back home.

I ran longer than planned, but it was all good. I did not mind finishing 12.5K.

In life, I also made wrong turns from time to time. The important thing is to always keep in mind the destination and find a reference point to know where I am in relation to my destination.

Jesus is my destination and the Bible is my reference point.
