"I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15.5 NLT)

"I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." (Philippians 4.13 NLT)

Both verses never implied I will be able to do anything I want, except to produce fruit for the vine. So whenever I stumble and face a roadblock, I should not say: "Lord why can't I do that?" Instead, I should introspect myself and ask, "Will this produce your fruit Lord?"

"A tree is identified by its fruit. Figs are never gathered from thornbushes, and grapes are not picked from bramble bushes." (Luke 6.44 NLT)
