Do not work for food that goes bad
Amidst everything that goes on around me, I find it difficult not to worry about running out of money. And then I will not be able to buy for things that I "need".
I know I ought to "seek first the Kingdom of God", but knowing it does not make it any easier. In a different scene, Jesus said:
"Do not work for food that goes bad; instead, work for the food that lasts for eternal life. This is the food which the Son of Man will give you, because God, the Father, has put his mark of approval on him."

I suppose seeking anything that is not God's will eventually will "go bad". And then it will be futile.
It is better to worry about NOT working on something that will "go bad".
