Both "type A personality" people and "type B personality" people rush. Type A rush because they want to be early and type B rush because they are going to be late. But rushing does not guarantee we can always avoid being late, although it is good to try.

We are not in control of everything. We think we control a few things, but in reality even those can run off track.

It is good to plan. But rushing to accomplish my plans, I may discover them thwarted. Trivial-everyday-life plans and big once-in-a-lifetime plan. Sometimes God has a different plan for me that I know not.
