I cannot recall many "fun and frolic" stories in the Bible and, as such, they are not exactly described in that way, but I can imagine the scenes to be lively and full of laughter.

God is not devoid of joy. On the contrary, he wants his children to enjoy his blessings. In the appropriate way - in the way that is consistent with his design for his children.

God is against me sinning, because sin separates me from him. At the same time, he loves me despite my sins and he wants me to enjoy life. Over time, I am learning more and more that life is more enjoyable when I have fun in ways that do not get me into sinning. It is fulfilling and good for me.
