“Moreover, He said to me, “Son of man, receive into your heart all My words which I will speak to you and hear with your ears (listen closely). Go .. and speak to them, whether they listen or not, and tell them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’ ”

Is it getting more and more difficult to listen closely to the Lord? The evil one uses the world to drown us with “noises” and “wants” that can easily be mistaken as “needs” and so they are important. Step by step the world dulls our hearing and make us lose interest in what God has to say.

Lord, I want to listen closely to you every day and speak and act as you want me to. I want to bring glory to you.
