I believe many decisions in life are influenced by fear, envy, and pride. Lies, directly or indirectly, are to cover any of these three.

And if I have full knowledge of God and be constantly renewed in his own image, I would realise that I do not need to fear. God is in control. I do not need to envy. That is chasing the wind. And I need to be careful with pride. It usually leads to mistakes.

please help me put on a new self every morning
a self that is renewed in your image
